I have made these with smocking elasticised waist which are much more stretchable than your normal elastic waist pants and other very important reason I gave it a smocking waist is because bobbin elastic is very thin compared to that one inch elastic that is used in most pyjamas which leaves bad elastic marks on your body whereas these ones are soooooo soft and thin that you won’t have any such problems(refer to the image above to see the difference in the two elastics)

I have started making smocking dresses again but this time I added an extra frill at the bust because being a small busted woman myself I had always being very conscious and thought this would be so nice to add a flowy fabric frill so this dress will be great for both small and big busted women :)
